In his book "Sons and Soldiers," author Bruce Henderson tells the little-known story of nearly 2,000 German-born American Jews who enlisted in the U.S. Army and were sent overseas as a special unit interrogating German POWs - a group of soldiers known as the "Ritchie Boys." Their contributions in fighting Hitler's war were invaluable. This lecture is free for veterans. This author lecture is presented as part of the Neustadt JAAMM (Jewish Arts, Authors, Movies and Music) Festival at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center at the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center in Denver. All are welcome to attend! [Organizer's description]
