Su Teatro continues its Resistance Jam tradition! Musicians are our storytellers and their songs allow our community to remember our struggles and triumphs. In honoring this democratic, storytelling musical tradition we say, “May the Circle be Unbroken and Expanded.” Sign up, bring your instrument, your axe, your voice, your words, your story and expand the circle. Let our music bring joy to the ongoing struggle this inauguration day, January 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. Sign up for a performance time slot before 12 p.m. the day of, and tune into the livestream event! The inauguration Resistance Jam is both a celebration and a call to action. The previous administration exposed many of the violent shortcomings in our country, so this Resistance Jam is a celebration of the end of an era. It is also a call to our communities to address the lingering unresolved problems and a call to build a better future.
