Go to the Midnight Club’s website, and the first thing that comes up is a full-page band photo. The bright-yellow backdrop and the musicians’ loud patterned button-ups and plaid pants perfectly exemplify the act’s retro style. The group was started in 2015 by four Denver high school students, who went on to win the opening spot at KTCL 93.3’s Big Gig the following year. Since then, the Midnight Club has entertained audiences at venues across town. The band’s newest single, “Close Your Eyes,” is a continuation of its decade- and genre-hopping sound. See what all the buzz is about at this headlining show at the Larimer.
