Izzio Bakery

Izzio Artisan Bakery occupies a huge corner of the Denver Central Market. That's because a row of ovens lines the back wall; racks upon racks of loaves, boules and braided challah are nestled behind the countertop, and the pastry case is crammed with a mishmash of sweets: cinnamon rolls, croissants both sweet and savory, scones, Danishes, cookies and kouign-amann. If the sheer volume of baked goods doesn't bowl you over, consider the cafe menu, with granola bowls, fancy toasts for breakfast or lunch, pitas and weekend brunch specials. If you're heading to the Market, we recommend making this expansive spot your last stop — because if you start at Izzio, you might not ever leave.
