Some of our best memories of France involve stuffing our faces with the best pastries in the world, roaming between shops to sample croissants, quiche, macarons and boules. When we crave that kind of experience in Denver, we head for Trompeau Bakery. Trompeau relocated from its original University of Denver digs to Englewood in 2011, but that didn't change a thing about the delectable baked goods coming out of the kitchen. Everything is made according to French recipes, and while it's all delicious, our favorites are the sweet and savory croissants, which are divine.
