The Piatti chain was founded in Napa Valley in 1987 -- in the cradle of the food revolution and in a good year for revolutionaries. That influence comes through in chef Mario Godoy's talented hand and creative eye, which are used to great effect in the kitchen. The ever-changing menu is packed with with local produce, meats and cheeses, all in a casual but upscale atmosphere.
