The Crown Social - Closed

1446 S. Broadway
Denver, CO 80210
After a four-year run as the Black Crown Lounge, the antique-filled dining room, piano lounge and bar set inside a restored mansion at 1446 South Broadway changed hands in early 2015. New owner Kell Peplau-Kaiser changed the name to the Crown Social and has made other changes, as well; most notably, the bar now features only Colorado-made spirits, beers and wines. One thing that hasn't changed: The Crown Social still doubles as an antiques shop, with curios and furniture on display throughout the space. Peplau-Kaiser has pared down the collection and organized it into themed galleries; one room, for example, features only Asian antiques. Jazz and blues trios play weekly.
