Westwinds Tavern

Westwinds Tavern, which has a log­cabin facade, has a long history in downtown Idaho Springs, and the friendly dive and has been a mainstay for both colorful locals and folks traveling on I­70 to or from the mountains, especially skiers looking for a respite from the traffic. The drinks are cheap, and the bar occasionally brings in live music.
