Have you peeped the Chloe Rodham directed stop-motion video for "100 Other Lovers," the first song from DeVotchKa's similarly titled, forthcoming full-length, 100 Lovers? We have, and it seems like a perfectly fitting representation. I mean, when we think DeVotchKa, we always picture a delightful old claymation woman in a house full of exotic birds. Rodham, tells Aol's Spinner.com, who premiered the clip earlier today, that the clip has an Eastern European feel that bolsters the "notion of romance" and "hints at the bittersweet nature of love." We don't know much about any of that sort of stuff -- Eastern Europe, romance or even love being bittersweet, for that matter. Regardless, the video gets two enthusiastic thumbs up from us.
