Turntablists, mark your calendars: Saturday, May 1 at the Walnut Room, DMC Denver is going down. And two of the Mile High City's finest DJs, Vajra and Chonz, will be judging to determine who advances to the DMC finals in New York this fall. Better bring your A-game, though. Both of those cats are past DMC contenders and not to be fucked with on the ones and twos.

Sponsored by Dent and the Walnut Room, the folks who brought you the Put Yo' Money Where Ya Mouth Is MC battle, the battle is open to DJs who register by Friday, April 30 and come prepared to showcase with two routines, one two minutes long and the other six minutes. Up for grabs, the chance to compete in NYC for the title as well as a Rane TTM-56s Mixer or a SL 3 for Scratch Live. For complete rules and to register, hit up the DMC website.
