Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
Update: Congratulations Nicole Bushhouse. A pair of tickets awaits you for this show tomorrow night at the Larimer Lounge.
Although our preview in this week's paper focuses on the Entrance Band, Amazing Baby, which stopped by Denver earlier this year warming up for Phoenix at the Bluebird and who headlines this bill at the Larimer Lounge that also includes locals Snake Rattle Rattle Snake, affably does justice to its outsized moniker. Rewild, the act's latest, is among our favorite releases of the year. Give both bands a spin after the jump, and then drop us a line with "Amazing Baby" in the subject line for your chance to win a pair of tickets to tomorrow night's show.
Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
