The big news this weekend is, of course, Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks Amphitheatre -- but if massives aren't your cup of tea, there are plenty more underground and club events taking place this weekend. Keep reading to see what's on our Dance Card:

If you're not getting to Red Rocks early tonight, feel free to pre-party it up at the Church's, uh, PreParty for Global Friday, with residents Hycloud, Skye, Floorbangers, Twenty42, Phunke Elements, Klutch Beat Bootique and Peter Elzi. (9 p.m., 18+, free for ladies 21+)

Doors open for Global Dance Festival early tonight, which is a good thing, because there are lots of acts to get through on three different stages, including local heavyweights Ishe, Manufactured Superstars and Just Ben, plus nationally renowned LMFAO, Major Lazer, Skrillex, Dieselboy and many more. (View the full lineup, with set times) (5 p.m., $69 plus ticket fees, all ages)

Also tonight, Beauty Bar is hosting So What! The Club: Futuristic -- the Shape of Jams to Come with DJs K-Nee and PDRBLK spinning soul, jazzy hip-hop, dubstep and electronica, with a music-video set from DJ Big Styles. (9 p.m.)

Beta hosts "Socialites" tonight as part of its ongoing Forever Fridays series; pop hits and dance mixes will be offered up by resident DJs Shares, Frank E and Petey, and featuring VJ Basquez. As per usual, P.U.N.C.H.I.S. presenting ZoOLoGiKo, cutting-edge and underground techno, will be taking over the Beatport Lounge. (9 p.m., 21+, no cover for ladies)

Escape into the mountains on Saturday from Full Moon Gathering at Rancho del Rio, with special guests Sebastian Koch and Tim Tor, plus the Missing Link, Khalib, Ivy, Mathyou, Jerome Baker, Baggett, Deciprocal, Tess, Trip Coffin, Ejay and Scott Everett. (2 p.m., $10)

Global Dance Festival keeps going on Saturday at Red Rocks with Jontron, Kevin Alvez, Dave Aude, Benny Benassi and many more. (View the full lineup, with set times) (5 p.m., all ages, $69 plus ticket fees)

Funky Buddha presents another House Guest! Saturdays with Brandon Bass dropping deep and funky tracks. (9 p.m.)

Bar Standard's VIP Saturdays host DJs Tanastadi, Big Styles and friends. (9 p.m., $5 cover, ladies free before 11 p.m.)
