Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
Paging Neil Young: Saw what you did with "Pants on the Ground" last week on, ahem, Jimmy Fallon. Good times. Call us crazy, but this one has your name written all over it. No?
We're of course talking about this gem from Chargers star running back LaDainian Tomlinson. Considering that it's already made the rounds on both Pitchfork and Stereogum, we're assuming you've already seen this clip. If not, whoo boy. See what you're missing above.
If Tomlinson isn't calling it a day after this season -- which, btw, it doesn't sound like he is -- by god he should be, if for no other reason than to keep from further invoking the wrath of the football gods, who, by the hand of the Jets, sent LT and the Bolts on an all expense paid trip to the off-season over the weekend.
Makes you wonder what the hell Flosstradamus, who reportedly had something to do with this, was thinking.
Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
