Tonight, the first in a series of benefits that have been organized for 3 Kings Tavern co-owner Jim Norris takes place at Rockbar. Jeri Theil, who's spearheading the event with the help of Shannon Boyles and Karen Cuda, has given us the full lineup for tonight's benefit (see below) and more info on the items that are being auctioned off, including a drum head signed by Nashville Pussy, drumsticks signed by Tommy Lee, signed copies of Jason Heller and Barry Fey's new books, tickets to shows at Summit Music Hall, Denver Center of the Performing Arts and Roller Girl's season passes, gift certificates from Illegal Pete's, Anthony's, Sketch and El Diablo -- and that's in addition to the Schecter guitar autographed by Filter and a skateboard autographed by Henry Rollins.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
