Ah, yes, what a splendid birthday present (okay, it isn't exactly our birthday, but close enough). It seems one of our favorite bands, Margot & the Nuclear So and So's, a group we've long been smitten with since first making its acquaintance at South Park some years ago, has a new album slated for release in September on its own label (the outfit parted ways with Epic after one record), and are slated to return to Denver on November 22, at the Bluebird Theater, to be exact.
While we haven't heard the record, apparently it's a departure for Richard Edwards -- who reportedly recorded the album in his new home of Chicago in an abandoned movie theater -- who made the record with two of his Margot bandmates and a bunch of new friends from Chicago. Needless to say, we're eager as hell to hear Buzzard. See track listing and tour dates after the jump.
