After a few years hiatus, Marty Jones is returning to the stage with a new batch of tunes. At 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, at the Skylark, Jones and a new group of players -- Zach Boddicker, Scott Johnson and Clay Bielman -- will unveil a 45-minute set of brand new material, on a bill supporting the Beloved Invaders. With tunes bearing titles like "Teardrops of Your Own," "Half a Bed to Spare," "Drinkin', Sinkin' Thinkin'," it doesn't sound like old Marty will be straying too far from the stuff he did with the Pork Boiling Poor Boys. Welcome back, Mr. Jones. -- Dave Herrera
