Here's what's happening in music on the Front Range this week: On the concert front, shows Tech N9ne, Lucinda Williams and Jimmy Buffet were announced. On local radio specialty shows, Monroe Monroe, Air Dubai, Spires and Popcult all got some spins. Meanwhile, at our local record stores, new and recent releases from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lil Wayne, Beirut and Ry Cooder were among this week's top sellers. This Just In: New Concerts and On-sale Dates


Tech N9NE has hit the area so many times in the last few years, we're starting to think the Kansas City based rapper lives here. Last time he played the Fillmore, he packed the place and he'll back at the venue on Saturday, November 12 with Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Kalhoun, Jay Rock, Flawless and Denver's own BLKHRTS. Tickets ($32.50/$35) go on sale this Friday, September 9 at 10 a.m. Lucinda Williams will also be in town on Saturday, November 12 at the Paramount Theatre as part of KBCO's Holiday Concert Series. Tickets ($30.50-$45.50) go on sale Saturday, September 10 at 10 a.m. Finally, Jimmy Buffett & the Coral Reef Band will be at the Pepsi Center on Tuesday, October 18. Tickets go sale Monday, September 12 at 10 a.m.
