Here's what's good in the Mile High City this week: In concert news, the Avett Brothers announced another Colorado date on July 8 at the Boulder Theater the night before their sold-out Red Rocks show, the FMQB Triple A Conference is returning to the Fox, Diana Ross is due at Wells Fargo in September and the Foo Fighters are slated for the Pepsi Center in October. On local radio, Elway, Caleb Slade, Jim McTurnan & the Kids That Killed the Man and Statewide Emergency got some spins. This Just In: New Concerts and On-sale Dates
In addition to the Avett Brothers' sold-out Red Rocks show on Saturday, July 9, Boulder Theater just announced an evening with the band the day before on Friday, July 8. Tickets ($47.50) go on sale Friday, June 17 at 10 a.m.
FMQB Triple A Conference returns to the Fox Theatre for another round of shows from Wednesday, August 10 through Friday, August 12 inside the venue including John Butler Trio, Jeff Bridges, Brett Dennen, DeVotchKa, Brandi Carlile as well as free shows outside on the Hill with Lissie, Bobby Long, Joseph Arthur and more. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 17 at noon.
Diana Ross visits the the Wells Fargo Theatre on Tuesday, September 20. Tickets ($65-$115) go on sale Friday, June 17 at 10 a.m. The Foo Fighters are due at the Pepsi Center in October. There's a pre-sale happening tomorrow before tickets officially go on sale on Friday.
