It's becoming more and more evident: Not only is the Mile High City blessed with an abundance of outstanding musician folk, but there's a wealth of talented creative types out there bolstering their efforts, people like Rod Blackhurst, the Locker Partners and Eric Heights.
For his part, Heights continues to impress with his work behind the lens. Adding to his growing reel of videos for acts like the Pirate Signal, Deca, Mane Rok and 3 the Hardway, Height's latest production for "Lights," a cut by Ichiban, proves no exception. Filmed on location around the city at places like the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and the Colorado History Museum, the clip centers on high contrast daytime shots of the MC interspersed with filtered colorized night shots. Another good look for Heights, and by extension, Ichiban and the Colorado hip-hop scene.
