So one more day before Flobots invade the Ogden to celebrate the release of Survival Story, their sophomore release and the eagerly awaited follow-up to 2008's Fight with Tools. We say "celebrate," because we've learned since posting yesterday's item weighing in on the act's first single, "White Flag Warriors," that the band will not actually have physical copies of the disc on hand. Gonna have to wait until Tuesday like the rest of the country to hear the recording, evidently.
Fortunately, though, if you head to the Ogden tomorrow night, you won't have to wait that long to hear the songs. In the meantime, here's a clip of from the band on the making of its new video for "White Flag Warrior." Directed by Taylor Cohen (Matt & Kim "Lessons Learned"), the video was filmed on location in the Mojave desert at the El Mirage Dry Lake Bed. Check it out.
