MP3 Freeloader: Download a song from Chad Price's new solo album

Update: Thanks to our friends at Suburban Home Records, we've got our hands on a track for Chad Price's forthcoming record, which we've posted after the jump for your downloading pleasure.

Hot on the heels of Vistor's Band, Jon Snodgrass's excellent solo record, Chad Price, the other half of the almighty Drag the River, has completed work on his solo album, Smile Sweet Face. Recorded at Black In Bluhm with Chris Fogal (Tauntaun, the Gamits), the disc purportedly features Price's songs in a starker environment, with the emphasis on Price and his vocals. According to Suburban Home Records, no release date has been set yet, but the imprint hopes to have the platter out by November in time for the Revival Tour, a revolving line-up that will feature Price and Snodgrass, in addition to Chuck Ragan of Hot Water Music, Jim Ward from Sparta, Tim Barry from Avail, Joey Cape from Lagwagon, Austin Lucas, as well as Tinhorn Prayer -- a relatively new outfit featuring Mike Herrera (Sleeper Horse, Blackout Pact) and Andy Thomas (Only Thunder), who will be appearing on the Denver date. See dates featuring Price after the jump. [originally posted 08/13/09]
