This Just In: New Concerts and On-Sale Dates

Mumford & Sons are due for a pair of Colorado dates on Tuesday, August 28 at Red Rocks and Saturday, September 1 at Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival. Presale tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon via the band's website, while the public onsale is this Friday, June 29.

Brother Ali, who was arrested last week at an Occupy Homes protest in Minneapolis, returns to the area for three shows: Thursday, October 11 at the Aggie Theatre ($15 tickets go on sale Friday, June 29), Friday, October 12 at the Bluebird ($20/$25 tickets go on sale on Saturday, June 30) and Saturday, October 13 at the Fox Theatre ($15/$18 tickets go on sale on Friday, June 29).

Henry Rollins visits the Paramount Theatre on Friday, September 21 as part of his election season Capitalism Tour that hits all fifty state capitals, starting September 6 in Honolulu and wrapping on the eve of the Presidential election at the 9:30 Club in the nation's capital. Tickets ($25-$34.50) go on sale on Friday, June 29 at 10 a.m.

Melvins Lite, a trio version of the Melvins that includes King Buzzo, Dale Crover and Trevor Dunn (of Mr. Bungle and Fantomas), hits the Bluebird Theater on Wednesday, September 12, as part of a fifty-state tour. The trio also just released Freak Puke on the Ipecac imprint.

Los Lobos' frontman David Hildago and guitarist Marc Ribot, who's played a ton of folks including Tom Waits and Elvis Costello, team up for a show at the L2 Arts and Culture Center on Tuesday, October 23. Tickets ($30/$32) go on sale tomorrow, June 27 at 10 a.m.
