While there's been a slight lull recently in terms of new shows, this week, there's a flood of new concert announcements, including Primus, Gov't Mule, Crystal Castles, HEALTH, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Matt & Kim, A$AP Rocky, Crime and the City Solution and more. Several of these shows go on sale this weekend. Page down for the full rundown. Plus, get local radio specialty show playlists and the week's top album sales in local record stores.

This Just In: New Concerts and On-Sale Dates

Primus brings its first-ever traveling 3D-enhanced tour to the Fillmore Auditorium on Saturday, November 3. Featuring two sets per night, the shows are reportedly supposed to be one-of-a-kind psychedelic experiences. Every show will also feature Quad Surround Sound. Tickets ($42.50) go on sale on Friday, August 3 at 10 a.m.

Gov't Mule plays back-to-back Denver shows, including Wednesday, September 12 at the Gothic Theatre and Thursday, September 13 at the Fillmore Auditorium with Anders Osborne opening both nights. Fillmore tickets ($30/$35) and two-pack tickets ($65, which also includes the Gothic) go on sale on Saturday, August 4 at 10 a.m.

Sheryl Crow and Amos Lee headline the KBCO and Flight For Life Colorado Anniversary Concert on Saturday, October 6 at 1STBANK Center. Tickets, which start at $44.95, go on sale on Saturday, August 4 at 10 a.m.

Melissa Etheridge, who's set to release her new album, 4th Street Feeling, in September, visits the Paramount Theatre on Tuesday, October 9. Reserved seats ($39-$104) go on sale on Friday, August 3 at 10 .m.

There's a bunch of new shows at the Ogden Theatre, including Crystal Castles, HEALTH and Kontravoid on Wednesday, October 17 (tickets for this one are $35.75 and on sale now); Matt & Kim on Friday, November 2 (tickets are $22.50 and go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m.), and A$AP Rocky with A$AP Mob, ScHoolboy Q and Danny Brown on Monday, October 15 (tickets are $25 and are on sale now).

Crime and the City Solution, which now includes Wovenhand's David Eugene Edwards, kicks off its worldwide tour (its first in two decades) at the Oriental Theatre on Thursday, October 18. Tickets ($25/$30) go on sale on Friday, August 3 at 10 a.m.
