This Just In: New Concerts and On-Sale Dates

It's the return of Furthur, always a perennial favorite in the Centennial State. The outfit, led by the Grateful Dead's Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, returns to the 1STBANK Center for a three-night stand that kicks off on Thursday, February 21, and runs through Sunday, February 24, after playing the Ogden Theatre on Thursday, Febuary 21. With the passing of amendment 64 and a new radio station dedicated to playing round-the-clock odes to sweet Mary Jane, the timing couldn't be better for a 4/20 show to take place at Red Rocks. And you can hardly pick a better batch of acts to perform on the Saturday, April 20, bill than Cypress Hill, Slightly Stoopid and Tribal Seeds. Tickets ($39.95 advance/$45 day of show/VIP $80) go on sale on Saturday, December 8, at 10 a.m.

Fleetwood Mac is making its way back to Denver for a show at the Pepsi Center on Saturday, June 1. Tickets ($49.50-$149.50) for the show go on sale on Monday, December 17 at 10 a.m.

After opening a pair of dates for Neil Young at Red Rocks this past summer, Alabama Shakes returns to the Mile High City for a headlining date of its own at the Ogden Theatre with Michael Kiwanuka, Sam Doores and Riley Downing on Saturday, March 9. Tickets ($36.50) go on sale this Saturday, December 8 at 10 a.m.

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, who are set to release Push Away the Sky on February 19, return to the Ogden Theatre on Wednesday, April 3. Tickets ($45) go on sale on Thursday, December 6 at 10 a.m. While we announced the Kenny Chesney show a few weeks ago, his Saturday, July 20 concert at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, with Eric Church, Eli Young Band, Kacey Musgraves goes on sale on Friday, December 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $26.50-$225.

Allstar Weekend and Cute is What We Aim For hit the Marquis Theater on Saturday, January 26. Everytime I Die and Acacia Strain are slated for the Summit Music Hall on Sunday, February 10.
