So tonight at the hi-dive, the almighty Omens are releasing their latest opus, a fantabulous long-player titled Send Black Flowers. Recorded by Jamie Hillyer at his Module Overload studios and mastered by Steve Sundberg, the album -- at least what we've heard of it -- is another classic Omens platter and finds the band embarking on another gritty excursion into its signature brand of garage rock. Catch the Omens at 4 p.m. when they guest on Radio 1190's Local Shakedown, download a track (after the jump) from the new record, then stop by the show tonight to see the outfit with Overcasters and Hawks of Paradise.
