Although Anti just released "Back in the Crowd," the second single from Tom Waits' forthcoming disc, Bad as Me, there's still close to another month before the album hits the stores. So if you're looking to your Waits fix in the meantime, Gold Hill Inn in Boulder is hosting a Tom Waits tribute on Sunday, October 2 to benefit Hospice Care of Boulder & Broomfield. Although there were rumors that Waits himself would be there, the folks at the Gold Hill Inn want to make it clear that he will not be there, but more than a dozen local musicians including Foehl, Ostevetto, Danielle Dennis, Danny Shafer, Scott McCormick, Greg Schochet, Todd Adelman, Mike Spires, Luke Finn, Kayanne Pickens will be there singing Waits songs for a good cause. Tickets are $15 and all proceeds will go to Hospice Care.
