Tonight at Forest Room , in conjunction with the fine folks at Speaker Snacks, the members of Snake Rattle Rattle Snake are hosting a low-key viewing party for their new video, Dead Men's Words, directed by local director extraordinaire Vincent Comparetto (Gamits, Planes Mistaken for Stars, Ian Cooke, Hot IQs).
The party kicks off at 9 p.m. and is open to everybody. Even better: There's no cover. The video itself will probably be screened sometime after 10 p.m., and for those who miss it or can't make it out for whatever reason, the Speaker Snacks dudes will premiere it this evening on their blog, and we'll post it sometime tomorrow on Backbeat.
We caught a sneak peek of the clip, a seemingly witch-house-styled/-inspired foray into psychedelia, shot on location in a forest with extras dressed as druids. From what we've seen, it's a pretty rad video.
