Danish sensation Trentmøller will make a rare Stateside appearance at the Ogden Theatre tonight; the former Trigbag member is back and better than ever after releasing Into the Great Wide Yonder in 2010. (9 p.m., 16+, $22-$25)

And that's far from the only thing happening in electronic music this weekend; here's what's on our dance card:

Get your dubstep fix tonight at Beta with Distance, who's produced with Skream, Benga and Pinch; he'll be holding down the decks with Truth, Dayquill and Zeno. In the Beatport Lounge, P.U.N.C.H.I.S. presents the Missing Link and Sequence for your glitchy techno needs. (9 p.m., 18+, $10)

It's Global Friday again at the Church. Hycloud, Skye, Floorbangers, Twenty42 and Phunke Elements will hold down the main floor, plus Klutch Beat Bootique in the mashup basement and Peter Elzi in the Retro Room. (8 p.m., 18+, ladies 21+ get in free all night)

The residents at Lipgloss -- boyhollow and option4 -- will be spinning solo tonight; we all know these two can hold down a dance floor, and they'll be proving why they're the ongoing Lipgloss act tonight at La Rumba. Plus, they'll be giving away tickets to the launch of Girls & Boys Denver tomorrow night. (9 p.m., 21+, free before 10 p.m., $5 after)

Tomorrow night, the Blend at the Meadowlark is hosting Maya vs. Sami, who will keep the house tunes banging out of those speakers for your dancing pleasure at the monthly residency. (9 p.m., 21+, $5)

Kitsuné World Tour 2011 hits Summit Music Hall on Saturday, featuring RAC DJs, BeatauCue, Database, Paul Anthony, boyhollow, London Dungeon, Fidget Factory and Spencer Flower; this world-class show is bound to be where the party's at. (7 p.m., 18+, $16 pre-sale, $18 day of show)

Bass-heavy beats will be the name of the game at Beta on Saturday; Congo Rock is headlining, with Cognition + T-Rav and Tommy Michael supporting, and even more bass in the Beatport Lounge: DJ Addikt, Mystical Influence, Technical Endeavor, Sevamatic & Decibel, Curiosity and Parrish. (9 p.m., 18+, $10)

The Beauty Bar is hosting the newly crowned DMC World Turntable Champion DJ Vajra on Saturday, along with DJs Chonz and Ginger Perry. It's the one-year anniversary of Paparrazi for the people, so put on your dancing shoes! (9 p.m., 21+, no cover)

Casselman's is bringing in Halloween on Saturday night with BooBash, featuring DJs Tense, Babyboy and 2 Times Elevated (and all-you-can-drink Coors Light drafts) (8 p.m., 21+)

And here's an unusual venue for you: Shug's Low Country Cuisine in Boulder will feature beats from BioDiesel with the Malah on Saturday night. (21+, $10 cover)
