So, just got off the phone with Adam Lancaster (Morning After Records, Curious Yellow), and the lineup for the Mile Hi-Fidelity party in Austin is close to being completely confirmed. Wait? What? Mile Hi-Fidelity? Isn't that the name of your radio show, you ask? Indeed. And while, yes, the show and the station (101.5FM) are co-sponsoring the event, the party actually came first, three years earlier in Austin. The camaraderie and sense of civic pride at the party that year was inspirational, so much so that I chose to name the show after the party in homage to those guys, the bands and the spirit of the whole event. This year, the party's founders, Lancaster and his Morning After co-hort, Dan Rutherford, have resurrected the gig and have booked some top-notch Denver talent to represent. Full details and confirmed lineup thus far after the jump.
