Weekend's best nightlife bets: Sasha, Stacey Pullen, Pezzner and more

Have fun figuring out where to put your dance shoes this weekend: The Electric Pony returns for another month at the Appaloosa Grill tonight, this time with wicked awesome techno producer and Pezzner. If you're into streamlined, mechanical sounds and mind-blowing melodies, this is the place to be. (9 p.m., 21+, $5-$10 donation at the door)

Tonight, NORAD hosts Olivier Desmet out of San Francisco, owner of Amenti Music and house impresario. Hoang Luu and Joey M will be keeping things funky with him. (9 p.m., 21+, $5 and up)

Get sexy and funky at Bar Standard tonight with Lazaro Casanova, Tamara Sky and London Dungeon; it's dark house like you've never heard before. Kasia Star, DJ Lux and Silent C host a silent disco on the side patio. (9 p.m., 21+, $5-$10)

Claw and Richie August's famed alter ego, Hulk, will be making the main floor at Beta heavier and deeper with their furious basslines tonight; Dodger and Fury will support. In the Beatport Lounge, Diizel, Erik Mitchell and Jens Irish will hold down the fort for P.U.N.C.H.I.S. (9 p.m., 18+, $5-$15)

If you want a little food with your dancing, head to the Nooch We're Not Open Yet party, featuring the lauded Chomp! Speakeasy, vegan snacks and DJ Brian Polk; all proceeds go to Nooch's Kickstarter account. (8 p.m.)

The renowned Sasha headlines Beta on Saturday night for what's bound to be a memorable set on that superb sound system; Dragon and Marshall Monica will support. (9 p.m., 18+, $20)

On Saturday, NORAD gets taken over by dance-floor charmer Stacey Pullen; prepare to lose yourself in some mass hysteria, if what we've heard from Pullen holds true. DJ Sensé, Andrew Kevins, and Easy Killer (featuring Ejay, Ivy and Bones) will also be spinning tunes, and keep your ears out for information on the after-hours event. (9 p.m., 21+, $10 and up)

DJ Rex Buchanan headlines Vinyl on Saturday during the day with auxiliary events like a bikini barbecue patio party, a bloody mary bar and more. (11 a.m., 18+, free)

Later that evening, Electro Bliss, Suk & Split, Cdom and Kon-Flikt will take over Vinyl, with much more on the expansive floors. (9 p.m., 18+, $10-$20)

Saturday night, Sub.Mission is teaming up with Firepower and Delta Nine to present Hatcha (mixing a History of Dubstep set), plus Vaski, Getter and the Juggernaut at Casselman's. Admission is free with a Pulse ticket before 10 p.m.! (6:30 p.m., 18+, $15-$20)

Beauty Bar celebrates its second anniversary with Peanut Butter Wolf on Saturday, plus photos by Paparazzi for the People and video by Eazy Media. (10 p.m., 21+, no cover)

Funky Buddha hosts House on the Rooftop with DJ 42 on Saturday night; Protegé, Chris King and Nigel "Funkytown" Wimberly will make you want to shake your booty all over the rooftop. (9 p.m., 18+)

Head back to NORAD for RETOX at 7 a.m. Sunday for some early morning music by Greg Eversoul, Diizel, Hoang, Andreas and surprise guests, plus drink deals. What else have you got to do so early in the morning? (7 a.m., 21+, free)

The Treehouse Collective presents Sunday Groove at Bar Standard, the best way to watch the sun set on your weekend. Sean Sea will join the rotation along with Travis Press, Brick Lee, Isaac H and Khalib. (5 p.m., 21+, free)
