Best song to come out of Denver (that you didn't write): "Grew Up Lowell" is a beautiful Joe Sampson song about his father in Massachusetts.

If you were a street in Denver, which street would it be and why? Downing: it has a bit of everything.

If you had to choose one act to represent Denver, who would it be and why? Rachael Pollard. Her music is a witty, whimsical confrontation with the surrounding world. At times, it's sad enough to make you cry, but instead it makes you smile — and wonderful, wonderful phrasing.

Which artist has had the biggest impact on you? Ron Miles.

Which album has had the biggest impact on you? Another Green World - Brian Eno.

File-sharing: Godsend or the death of music? Ah, that's a tough one. File-sharing helps music evolve and disperse, but there need to be changes so art doesn't get taken advantage of.
