Parting shot: Denver's been very good to me. The scene, the bands, the vibe — but most of all, the people. I've been doing some world traveling lately, learning about other cultures firsthand, and have seen some amazing things, but I find that Denver's vitality is still an unknown wonder. Our music scene is definitely just beginning to get the recognition from the industry, and I think the best is yet to come.

If you were a street in Denver, which street would it be and why? Ivy Street. No, really, I don't have a good answer for this.

If you had to choose one act to represent Denver, who would it be and why? Honestly, my musical tastes are so diverse, it would be impossible to say. But let's say I'm going to represent downtempo/left-field/electronic music. Right now — Grandpa Mojo.

Which artist has had the biggest impact on you? The Beatles.

Which album has had the biggest impact on you? It's hard to have a definitive answer on this, as my moods and opinions shift with the wind. but T Power's Self-Evident Truth of an Intuitive Mind is still, to this day, one of the most mind-blowing albums I've ever experienced. But, hell, tomorrow I'll tell you it was the "White Album" that's had the biggest impact on me.
