Best artist/band to come out of Denver (that's not yours/you): John Denver.

Best song to come out of Denver (that you didn't write): Josh: A couple years ago, Public Service Records put out a Roger Green/Porlolo split called What Would This Be For. It's loaded with great songs, but if I have to pick one, Roger Green's "December" is my favorite. Number 3: Everything from Brainhammer. Duncan: "Basket," by Danghead

If you had to choose one act to represent Denver, who would it be and why? Magic Cyclops. He'll tell everyone he's from Davenport, Iowa, thus keeping our little scene safe in obscurity.

Which artist has had the biggest impact on you? Number 3: Drive Like Jehu; Duncan: Franz Kafka.

Which album has had the biggest impact on you? Josh: I picked a Nevermind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols cassette out of a bargain bin when I was eleven because I liked the name. I had no idea what Johnny Rotten was singing about, but I wrote some of the lyrics on my skateboard. I still listen to that record a lot, because I love how thoroughly pissed off Johnny Rotten sounds. I still have the cassette tape somewhere, but now I also have it on my iPod. Duncan: My War (side two) - Black Flag.

File-sharing: Godsend or the death of music? Jesus cries every time you steal an MP3. So steal away!

Who's on your iPod right now? Josh: "Bullet Train to Vegas" - Drive Like Jehu; Number 3: Rough mix of the new D. Biddle record. July 13!; Duncan: Sky Blue Sky - Wilco.
