MACHINE GUN BLUES

3 P.M., OUTDOOR STAGE

Website: www.myspace.com/machinegunblues

Personnel: Two cousins, one blonde kid, a black guy, and every now and then a drummer.

What three adjectives best describe your music? Intuitive, smelly, oblong.

Favorite place to play a show: Anywhere there are kids into rock and roll.

Favorite place to hang out/drink: Why, you holding?

Best artist/band to come out of Denver (that's not yours/you): The James Gang, but that was in Boulder, back when it didn't feel kind of icky being there.

Best song to come out of Denver (that you didn't write): That one Coldplay song.

If you were a street in Denver, which street would it be and why? What kind of fucking metaphorical bullshit is this?

If you had to choose one act to represent Denver, who would it be and why? That is not possible. Denver is too diverse musically to blow our load on one musical trend or style. We have too much good music to ask ignorant fucking questions like that.

Which artist has had the biggest impact on you? Fuck off.

Which album has had the biggest impact on you? Stop with the rubbing; you're going to make it bleed more than it already is.

File-sharing: Godsend or the death of music? Well, if it makes you sick, then you should not put it in there.

Who's on your iPod right now? Michael Yonkers.

Parting shot: Who?
