Win tickets to see DeVotchKa at the Ogden this Friday plus passes to after show meet and greet

Update 10/28/11: Contest is officially over. Thanks for all the entries. Congratulations goes out to Christopher Weston. You and a guest will be our guests at the DeVotchKa show tonight. Send an email for info on how to claim your tickets and wrist bands for the after show meet-and-greet.

This Friday night, DeVotchKa is playing at the Ogden Theatre, and we can hardly think of anything that would be better than seeing these hometown heroes playing their annual Halloween show at the Ogden -- well except for, perhaps, being able to see them for free with a friend and then being able to hang out with Nick Urata and company afterward. Yeah, pretty much nothing cooler than that. So what do you say? Would you and guest like to be our guest? Page down for details on how to win.

To enter:

1. "Like" us on Facebook, which you can do right here (Note: If you're already following us on Facebook, you're already eligible to enter; proceed to step two):

2. Sign in to Disqus with your Facebook account and leave us a comment below telling us why you're stoked to see the show. Then check back on Friday morning to see if you've won. We'll be drawing winners at random around 10 a.m. Good luck!

Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
