Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
Just before 8 p.m. last night, the Aurora police responded to 11922 Archer Place, apartment K-23, near the Aurora Hills Golf Course to find the body of a deceased male. The man's identity has not yet been released pending the outcome of an autopsy, but police are treating the death as a homicide. They've released very few details thus far, noting that they're in the preliminary stages of the investigation. The first homicide took place on Christmas Eve outside the Rack'em Billiards and Sports Bar. See the Aurora police department's statement below and get details about who to contact with information about the case.
