The search continues for Kayleah Wilson, a twelve-year-old Greeley girl who's been missing since heading to a friend's birthday party on Sunday, March 28.
This kind of story is capable of making people lose faith in humanity -- but the Prayers For Kayleah Wilson's Safe Return Facebook page should restore it. At this writing, nearly 3,200 people have signed up as members, and the wall is crowded with messages of compassion. While some of these notes are offered by people who know Kayleah, at least as many are from folks who've never met her, but simply want to share their best wishes.

Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
