The Aurora Police Department Facebook page regularly posts interesting photo collections, including galleries starring badass APD cops from the '70s and '80s. But the latest pics are fresh: They offer a behind-the-scenes look at the APD's first-ever Teen Citizen Police Academy.

The first ever Aurora Police Department Teen Citizen Police Academy was held on June 16th-27th. The purpose of the academy is to give teens an inside look at the day to day operations of the police department and to see what it is like to be a police officer.
