Earlier this month, we shared twenty images from a video entitled "Denver's Best Street Art" and asked the question, "Do the images deserve this title?" Shortly thereafter, we were contacted by a twenty-year veteran of the Denver street art scene who answered "no" -- and then came up with images that he feels offer a better representation of "some of the best writers in Denver."

He's absolutely right about that, as you'll see in part one of his top twenty picks below.

Our curator asked to remain anonymous, to keep the focus on the art -- and thanks to gifted photographer Gary Glasser, aka "The Anarchivist," who's kindly allowing us to use his images, the pieces look undeniably spectacular.

Because some of the pics are tough to appreciate because of our blog's relatively narrow width, we've presented two views of the most horizontal among them, with a section featured large over a shot of the piece as a whole. Check them out below -- and keep an eye out for part two, coming soon.
