Why wouldn't he get all of these tattoos? He is a mediocre player and look at how much press he gets, mostly because of his looks. It's not like he is ever getting a real job after the NBA anyway. He's got to make money while he can, and creating a persona is a lot easier than becoming relevant with his skills.
