Reader: Could Boulder's third-least-obese-city ranking be connected to eating disorders?

Last week, we noted that Boulder is the third least-obese city in the United States according to a new Gallup survey.

Why? One reader floated a theory using a 2012 post about the high rate of eating disorders at CU-Boulder.

Boulder is also one of the nation's leaders in eating disorders among women for the exact same reasons (per another contributor's article, by the way: http://blogs.westword.com/latestword/2012/03/eating_disorders_cu_boulder.php) so there's that...makes me highly doubtful that they're as content as studies say.
