Reader: I wish we could close the gates on visitors to Denver

Last week, we shared a list of the ten cities sending the most visitors to Denver and added factoids about why they might be leaving home to spend time in the Mile High City. Plenty of readers added their takes as well, with this one wishing that such tourists would stay home and keep their problems with them.

More laid-back lifestyle, the weather, the year-round activities, lower crime rate, just to name a few. I wish CO could have 'closed the gates' years ago. The city has grown too fast, bringing with it all the problems of bigger cities.
