Reader: Judge Michael Martinez is a hero for stopping Dougco school voucher program

Judge Michael A. Martinez's ruling that stopped a Douglas County school voucher program has been controversial in some quarters, with the families of impacted students frequently casting blame on plaintiffs behind the lawsuit in question. But a longtime critic of the voucher plan has a different point of view.

Edddoer writes:

Judge Martinez' ruling is a sterling defense of religious freedom, public education and the state and federal constitutional principle of separation of church and state. Judge Martinez is an American hero. -- Edd Doerr, President, Americans for Religious Liberty
