Our post yesterday about Kyle Orton, and questions about whether the Broncos don’t simply trade him and anoint Tim Tebow as starting quarterback, prompted some readers to speak up in KO’s defense.
Here’s a prime-time example.
Kyle writes:
Orton deserves to start with an actual team this year. The past 2 years he has had to deal with an awful running game and arguably the worst defense in the NFL. Let’s give him a chance with a team that DOESN’T suck instead of blaming him for losing a game when our defense is the one giving up 35-42 points a game. Also this states that Kyle Orton is not ‘trying to get better.’ I’m sure that’s a lie. I’m sure hes working on his throwing techniques as well as lifting at home and what not. He’ll get together with his team once training camp starts, so I wouldn’t call him a non-leader. It’s only April. At this point nearly every football player is only working out on their own.
