Reader: Lisa Kennedy will be stretched too thin covering film and theater for Denver Post

Our item about the Denver Post asking Lisa Kennedy to report on both film and theater -- a move that combines two former full-time positions into one -- inspired plenty of different takes on the situation.

Here's one from a reader who fears coverage will suffer despite Kennedy's talents.

I think it's stretching Kennedy too far. She's a terrific movie critic, just as John Moore was an amazing theatre critic. I think having Kennedy do double duty will only weaken the Post's ability to have original content. Moore was able to cover a wide number of shows & news in the theatre community. Kennedy did the same with movies. Having her do both will mean she can only devote half the time to each. We'll all be losers then.
