Reader: Pro Athletes at Strip Clubs After Midnight Risk Getting Shot

There was a big reaction to our report about the shooting of Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib.

The incident took place at approximately 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 5, at a strip club in Dallas.

At the post's conclusion, we wrote: "The shooting is yet another cautionary tale about what can happen when professional athletes visit alcohol-rich environments during the wee hours."

This reader expresses his agreement in a memorable way.

John Mccall writes:
I'm 72 years old and have never been shot. Could it be that I'm not a professional athlete and hang out in safer and classier places than they do?
