Officer Jessica Wangrow writes:
"Investigation disclosed that unknown suspect(s) approached the Baker's Palace in a red Jeep Cherokee. A Hispanic male entered the bakery and took the tip jar, then ran out of the building. A worker ran after the suspect, tackled him and took the jar containing the tip money back. The suspect then jumped into the passenger side of the Jeep and fled northbound on S. Federal Blvd. The business did not have security cameras and no more investigative leads."
In other words, no one at Baker's Palace could offer the police any tips. -- Jared Jacang Maher
Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way.
