Colorado State Capitol Graffiti Arrest Probable Cause Statements

Continue for our previous coverage of the Million Mask March and graffiti tagging of the Colorado State Capitol, including photos and videos. Original post, 5:52 a.m. November 6: The Million Mask March to commemorate Guy Fawkes Day has become an annual tradition globally, as well as in Denver, where last year's rally prompted claims of police brutality. Last night, however, there was a twist: Ten protesters have been arrested, most charged with spraying graffiti on the Colorado State Capitol. We've got details, photos and a slew of videos, including hours of footage streamed live during the demonstration. The Million Mask March is associated with the group Anonymous, and in videos shared by UStream user Arlington Hick that can be found on page two of this post, the organization's name is occasionally chanted by participants, along with "Net Neutrality," "AT&T," "Comcast" and "Hand up, don't shoot."

The last phrase is, of course, a reference to the police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, earlier this year.

Here's a tweeted image described as an "Anon family photo" shot:

As can be seen in the streaming videos, a number of demonstrators, some wearing the familiar Guy Fawkes masks, marched along the 16th Street Mall before heading to the State Capitol, and Denver police officers were prepared, as indicated by this tweet:

Then, at around 8:15 p.m., the Denver Police Department unleashed this tweet:

Photographic examples of the graffiti followed, including this one....

...and this one:

Then came details about the arrests:

Many protest-related tweets tended not to focus on the graffiti. Here's one example:

However, Occupy Denver is keenly aware of the busts. OD posted the following on its Facebook page during the wee hours of this morning:
