But according to EFG-BN U.S. Food Reserves, the folks at Harvest Army World Revival saw it coming -- and interpret the disaster as a warning from God for "the Church and His Kids to return, repent and prepare!"

Here's the description of Harvest Army from the organization's "About Our Ministry" page:In 1990, Harvest Army Church International was inaugurated in Miami Florida, USA, by Bishop K.D. Collins and wife Overseer E.E. Collins. In 1991 they visited New York and met with Bishop B. Hyatt, Rev. O. Hyatt, Overseer D. Smith, and others as pioneers for a second church in the USA. In 1992 Bishop K.D. Collins traveled to Jamaica and invited Overseer C. Collins into the movement. Harvest Army Outreach Ministries was then inaugurated. By September 1992, New York was officially chartered as the International Headquarters of the church body.Among the features on the Harvest Army website is a running list of "Recent Prophecies" -- among them an August 16 vision that "a part of the USA is seen greatly devastated by the elements. The scenery appears similar to a third world country. There is much loss. Mankind need to repent of our sins and turn to Jesus Christ for eternal salvation, the one who reveal these events. John 13:19."The movement then spread to parts of the world including England, Ghana, Haiti, Nigeria, India, Grenada, Canada, Fiji, Trinidad and The Netherlands. Harvest Army currently consists of over 200 branches and affiliates worldwide.
In 1996, Harvest Army Bible College was inaugurated. To date, many books and manuals have been published. Weekly television programs air worldwide on many media networks with potential viewership of over 100 million. Several musical recordings have been produced. Thousands of teaching and preaching recordings have been developed and made available.
The World Revival Movement continues to carry the fire by sending out willing harvesters & missionaries across the world. Many churches have been planted as well as joined worldwide. In recent years God has sent a special outpouring with weekly eunuch baptisms in the thousands.
In this movement every believer is raised up to become powerful preachers and personal witnesses of the Gospel. Men and women, boys and girls, learned, unlearned can be seen, on a weekly basis, preaching the Gospel and witnessing. Some have even been jailed for their ministry. One teenager kept on preaching in his jail cell. The officer could not bear to hear the preaching any longer and so called for the boy's parents to send anybody to fetch him immediately.

That was followed on September 7 by a revelation that begins, "In the spirit, the word 'Denver' is heard. Interpretation: Major distress is determined upon Colorado. Mankind need to repent of our sins and turn to Jesus Christ for eternal salvation before it is too late. 2Corinthians 6:2.... Behold, now is the day of salvation."

This prophecy now appears at the top of a column entitled "Recent Fulfillments" -- meaning that Harvest Army generals believe the flooding here was foreseen and presumably took place because Coloradans didn't heed the warning and failed to offer up their hearts and minds to Jesus Christ.
That's the message from EFG-BN U.S. Food Reserves, which portrays the flooding as punishment for heathen ways.

The entry, entitled "Jesus Christ Speaking Through the Church WARNED Colorado to Prepare for Imminent Distress/Calamity 5-Days Before Flooding Crisis," suggests that the media has willfully ignored Harvest Army's messages, even though a great many of them have come to pass. The passage maintains that "it is virtually impossible to address all of the prophetic warnings delivered from Harvest Army to the world and USA that have been fulfilled in just days and months after the alerts have been issued from the ministry. (But have you even heard a word from main-stream media or any news outlet about Harvest Army?)."
Even so, the post goes on, "it is critically important that you DO NOT MISS the August 16, 2013 and September 7, 2013 warning delivered to America, and then specifically to Colorado.
"If you miss the accuracy of this prophetic warning, including its significance now, you will miss one of the most important reasons why GOD is speaking to the world at this time in history through his prophetic vessels with stunning accuracy."
The site adds that "the days of FEEL-GOOD prophetic Words from well-meaning, but deluded Christian ministries is OVER."GOD is warning the Church and His Kids to return, repent and prepare!"
Oh yeah: Don't believe for a minute that Harvest Army is using such predictions for profit rather than prophecy. "You can't find any prophetic warning or video they have published that asks, requests or even HINTS about giving money to the ministry," the site maintains.
Whatever the case, other recent prophecies include "A Rare Disease or Virus is about to come upon the Earth" and "Astronomical Judgement Upon Mankind." Don't say you weren't warned.
