Unlike Michigan, Colorado doesn't have a Cannabis College -- not yet. But the entire state is getting quite an education in both the efficacy of medical marijuana in soothing certain maladies and the difficulty of imposing new rules on dispensing it.
Denver City Councilman Charlie Brown has gotten a real crash course in medical marijuana over the past two months, and this morning at council's Safety Committee meeting he'll propose a new city ordinance for regulating city dispensaries. The meeting starts at 9:15 a.m.; for extra credit in our continuing pot education, I'll be live-blogging the discussion right here.
